£2 Fare Cap on all adult single fares

We’re pleased to announce that we are continuing to participate in the National Bus Fare Cap!

From 1 November 2023 until 31 December 2024, adult fares on Filers Travel services will be capped at £2 per single journey. This is being funded through the Government’s “Help for Households” program to help the public with cost-of-living pressures during 2023.

All adult single fares on all our routes will be covered:

• 303 between Barnstaple and Woolacombe
• 309 between Barnstaple Railway Station and Lynmouth (via Shirwell)
• 310 between Barnstaple Railway Station and Lynmouth (via Bratton Fleming)

The majority of child single fares are below £2; for those which are over £2 we will instead offer child passengers an adult single for £2.

If you ask for a return ticket that is over £4, we will recommend you purchase single tickets for each stage of your journey, thus keeping the total cost at £4.
